Just a 2-minute walk from Home Beach, in bush setting, Allure Stradbroke Resort boasts an outdoor heated pool, a fitness centre and a children's playground. All self-contained accommodation features a patio and BBQ facilities.

Allure Stradbroke Resort is a 4-minute drive to the Gorge Walk at Point Lookout with stunning ocean views and whale watching locations. It is a 20-minute drive from both Dunwich Ferry Terminal and Freshwater Lakes. There is a range of local wildlife roving the resort grounds, including koalas, goannas, kangaroos and wild birds.

All air-conditioned accommodation features a kitchen or a kitchenette. It offers a dining and lounge area with a TV. There is a washing machine and outdoor furniture. The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer.

Allure Stradbroke Resort now offers guests WiFi with unlimited data. We invite you to bring your own content and devices (ChromeCasts, gaming devices, AppleTV’s, Foxtel Now, Google Assistant etc) and use our WiFi to stream and play. Easy connectivity in a secure ‘in-room’ network.

Straddie Beach Shacks

Cute little shack, 600m from the beach, little cafe on site and walking distance to pub, bowls club and a restaurant. Super handy! The room was clean and comfortable. We even had a kangaroo hanging out in the bushes near our deck and lots of curlews/other birds around too.

The shacks were quite close together and didn't have much privacy. Especially when sitting out on the deck, it was all open and could very easily hear/see neighbours.

Perfect for what I needed for a four day snap out of the rat race to readjust and chill.

Just a really welcome surprise how good this place was. Pricing was still reasonable in the high-season which was great to see they aren't gouging like the rest of the island's hotels. The style of accom is perfect for the location. A one minute walk to the beach. Great Coffee in the morning at the restaurant, the first open on the island by the way too.

No complaints really, the bed was a tad too hard but that's my preference for softer.

A pleasant way to spend 5 nights on Straddie.

Great access to the beach with close proximity to coffee shops and the bowls club, great little kitchenette and bbq, comfortable living area

Bed wasn’t very comfortable and wifi not very strong for remote working.

Happy to be accommodated last minute.

Able to book last minute and staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being small, does have a kitchenette and BBQ.

Quite small accommodation, short walk to beach but not on the beach and no beach view. Pool was very overcrowded. Second bed was basically a couch and not very comfortable.

Great location. Just across the street from a wonderful beach. Very nice staff. And a place to eat as part of the resort. Two thumbs up for the breakfasts and coffee

Outstanding accommodation to explore beautiful Stradbroke Island.

Absolutely loved the beach bungalows/shacks. Excellent facilities to have a very comfortable stay at Point Lookout. Can easily prep meals, cook on the bbq or stroll to hotel, restaurants or the bowlo. Can easily connect with nature and local wildlife on the decks out the back with a cold bevvie. Access to the beach is brilliant! The pool is perfect for a quick splash to cool off in the afternoons.

Nothing that concerned me at all.

Relaxing place to chill and enjoy island life

Very comfy home away from home. Clean and well presented with excellent location to home beach across the road and oasis Mexican restaurant walking distance. Kitchen has the essentials and the bed was comfy. Staff were kind with giving us early check in knowing we were in the island. Would easily recommend

Wonderful

I wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel was comfy and clean. I also like the serenity and the backyard bush. It was overly wonderful except that the bed was a bit noisy when you are doing something you know. Lol
